Palm Island Resort is an eco-friendly, green certified island with a dash of sophistication. The luxury, all-inclusive, 135-acre resort offers a range of amenities, activities, dining options and accommodations.

Palm Island is located near the southern tip of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a chain of 32 islands and cays known for natural beauty and clear, tranquil waters. The island’s abundant sea life, coral reefs and unique shipwrecks attract recreational sailors and divers from around the world.

Inter-island airfare and private boat service is available for guests staying seven nights or longer. Once guests arrive in Barbados (BGI), Palm Island provides complimentary airfare for the direct flight to Union Island on Grenadines Airlines. After the convenient, 45-minute flight, guests are greeted with bottled water and chilled face cloths before being whisked away by golf carts for their eight-minute private boat ride to the resort.

Recently, the resort added four large suites, upgraded all accommodations with air conditioning and renovated formerly private residences into luxurious villas.

Children 12 – 15 years are welcome from 25 April – 2nd January.

All meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) at the Royal Palm Restaurant & Bar or by reservations at the Sunset Grill & Bar.

All beverages at both bars (Name-brand liquors, house wine by the glass, Caribbean beers, tropical coolers and soft drinks).

Ideal for romantic getaways, the intimate resort has only 41 Guest rooms and two villas. More than half of the 43, accommodations are set directly on the beach while the rest, are located just a few steps away.

All accommodations provide the following in-room amenities:

Air conditioning; soft bathrobes; complimentary beverages in a refrigerated minibar;daily housekeeping service; nightly turndown service; personal safe; hair dryer; coffeemaker; alarm clock; iron and ironing board. In addition, all beach front rooms are now outfitted with glass shutters.

A TV, computer and Internet lounge is available for guests, who may also bring their own laptops and take advantage of WiFi access.

Palmview rooms have sitting areas, furnished terraces, two queen-sized beds or a king-sized bed (some with canopies), and master baths (some with deep-soaking tubs).

Beachfront rooms have king-sized beds, furnished terraces with views of the sea and Union Island, small sitting areas and bathrooms only with showers. These 20 rooms are perfect for romance and are situated in ten single-story buildings set side-by-side along the beach.

Island lofts are located in charming, wooden cottages and feature two queen-sized beds or one king-sized bed, private terraces with ocean views toward the Tobago Cays or gardens, deep soaking tubs and separate single showers. These five airy lofts provide an abundance of charm and privacy. The island lofts are perched above the ground on stilts, set back from the beach amid lush gardens.

Four beachfront Seagrape Suites offer king-sized beds and bathrooms with double showers for two as well as large soaking bathtubs. Suites feature pull-out couches in sitting areas as well as oversized master baths.

Southern Cross Villa, which sleeps up to four adults, is the ultimate escape for couples. The oceanfront villa is designed with honey-toned woods, comfortable rattans and stone finishes blending into the natural environment, a panoramic bluff. The villa includes its own 10-by-10-foot infinity pool, a tiled dining terrace, an arbor patio and two master bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed, a marble bathroom and a step-in, ocean view shower, where a large door opens to the sea. The villa’s state-of-the-art marble kitchen has a flat screen television and is stocked with pantry staples including cereal, fruit, snacks, coffee and tea. For refreshment, soft drinks, beer and complimentary bottles of champagne, red wine and white wine are provided upon arrival. A complimentary golf cart is also provided for the villa.

Seafeather Villa is the resort’s newest villa and is situated on the island’s northern shore. The villa has three bedrooms with a king size bed, a queen size bed and a twin size bed, a living room and a covered deck adjacent to the ocean’s edge.

Refreshments are stocked upon arrival and a complimentary golf cart is provided. Located directly on the ocean, the villa features televisions in all rooms, Internet, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.

Maximum occupancy four persons in two Bedroom Villa using existing bedding. Fifth and sixth person in Villa accommodated in third bedroom with two twin beds.

Please Note: A driver’s licence must be presented to drive the golf cart that is included in the 2 and 3 bedroom villas)

Palm Island Resort offers daily afternoon tea, premium alcoholic beverages and three meals per day.

Sunset Grill is a casual beachfront restaurant, offering an extensive lunch and dinner menu. Seating is available inside the restaurant or directly on the sand. Highlights include prime steak, grilled shrimp and blackened fish.

Royal Palm Restaurant sits on the island’s white-sand beach and offers a formal dining experience. The menu highlights include croissants, eggs benedict and Cinnamon French toast with Vicentian rum butter for breakfast, salad, pizzas and pastas for lunch and an a la carte menu with a variety of international dishes for dinner.

DRESS CODE During the day, the restaurant dress code permits covered and dry bathing suits. After 6:30 p.m. long pants, short- or long-sleeved shirts, jeans, dresses, skirts and dress shorts are required. Dress shoes and dress sandals are recommended, as no flip flops, tennis shoes, t-shirts or tank top/sleeveless shirts are permitted in the evening.

During high season guests at the private island of Palm Island can enjoy personal training instruction and yoga as part of the All Inclusive – Pilates, yoga and personal training daily winter only.

Silent beach cinema nights:  There is a schedule of popular films to be enjoyed on one of the five stunning beaches available on the island.  Guests can snuggle up after dark under blankets and enjoy the complimentary snacks!

Guests can enjoy a scenic tour via bicycle or explore the ocean’s wildlife during a snorkelling excursion. In addition, the resort features a lagoon-style swimming pool, complimentary tennis, croquet, table tennis, beanbag toss and horseshoe game pit, cycling, shuffleboard and water activities such as kayaking and windsurfing. Guests can choose to sunbathe, stroll along one of the white-sand beaches or enjoy nightly entertainment. Three hiking trails, a tennis court, a full fitness centre and a cosy library are also available. Excursions can be arranged at the tour desk for an additional fee.

SPA Palm Island Spa offers a diverse menu of treatments. The spa menu incorporates a variety of therapies, from traditional Swedish and Shiatsu treatments to reflexology techniques. All treatments incorporate natural oils and creams, including tea tree, ylang ylang and peppermint. The spa offers face, hand, foot and full-body massages as well as a detox seaweed wrap and pedicure.

Weddings on Palm Island are always very intimate and personal affairs. The dedicated wedding co-ordinator will assist with all the arrangements and  friendly, yet highly-experienced staff will ensure you have a wedding day to remember.

Palm Island’s wedding package includes:
Services of a wedding co-ordinator; Registrar costs and ceremony charges; Venue – Site on property decorated with flowers for wedding and reception; Bouquet of flowers for the bride; Boutonniere for the groom; One-tier wedding cake; Bottle of champagne; All taxes and gratuities.

Please note that couples getting married at Palm Island must go to the ministry in St. Vincent. Palm Island will arrange the inter-island flights, but the cost of approximately $125 per person is not included. You will fly over in the morning and return the same day. The cost of the return taxi from the airport to the ministry is also not included. If you desire the services of a priest, Palm Island can arrange this for you, however, you will be responsible for his airfare from St. Vincent. Prices subject to change.

Palm Island Resort is perfect for honeymoons. Maybe you’re dreaming of lazing around all day on one of our white sand beaches – we do have five so you’ll probably find one all to yourselves. Or maybe you like the idea of being a little more active, perhaps going sailing, snorkelling or boating together or taking a walk along one of the panoramic nature trails? Of course, when the sun goes down on Palm Island, the romantic mood heats up.
