One of the most popular additions to the Mango Bay is the boardwalk. Built parallel to the beachfront, the boardwalk stretches the breadth of the property. It not only provides additional lounge space for relaxing and tanning along the beachfront, but it also provides seating for deck dining in the restaurant.
“Elements Spa” offers a large menu of skin, body and facial treatments for guest to indulge while on holiday.
A list of treatments is available on request. Spa treatments are not included in the regular price of an all-inclusive stay at Mango Bay
The hotel’s 76 rooms are spacious and tastefully appointed in a modern, contemporary style. All are air-conditioned and equipped with king beds (two twins available on request), Cable TV, radio, hairdryer, safety deposit and private balcony or patio. There are six room categories from which to choose – Standard, Standard One-Bedroom, Superior, De Luxe, Oceanfront and the new oceanfront Penthouse Suites.
Each room features two, 42-inch Plasma TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There is a full wet bar at the entrance to each suite and a fully-furnished living area and patio. On the patio of each suite is a private plunge pool. The spacious bedroom opens directly into the living room and patio. The bathroom features a deep soaking tub and separate shower with a waterfall shower head.
**Please note that the standard block of rooms is adjacent to 1st and 2nd Streets in Holetown, where there are a number of restaurants and bars. These rooms are susceptible to noise when there is activity in the streets.
The 10 new Deluxe Rooms are located on the top floor and offer views of the pool and garden. These new rooms feature wooden 2-Poster beds, bedside tables, armoires and writing desks. The bathrooms have 6-ft. tubs and waterfall shower heads.
The two Penthouse Suites are very spacious and enclosed on two sides with glass, offering majestic views of the Caribbean Sea and West Coast of Barbados.
Dress Code Applies:
No shorts or t-shirts in the bar/restaurant after 6.00pm. Shirts with sleeves must be worn. Smart, stylish jeans are permitted (without tears). Cover-ups are required for lunch. Saturday night is BBQ Night and smart shorts may be worn for dinner that night. Footwear is required in the restaurant at all times.
Please note that on rare occasions, after excessive rainfall, the Holetown Lagoon, adjacent to the hotel, overflows into the sea.
