It wasn't great on this occasion, although we know this hotel of old and are willing to put up with its issues usually. This time laundry issues and no hot water were a bit too much.
Poor
This is a tired colonial hotel in a great location. The beach is great and it is a short walk into Holetown. Beach beds are very uncomfortable :( The ocean view rooms are worth the premium. Staff are great and food decent if mundane with plenty of fresh salads, fish, local dishes, burgers etc. We mixed eating in on the AI package with eating out and restaurants such as Tides, Daphne's, Mullins Beach Bar etc Booze is good quality for AI with decent Red and Rose wines from Spain and good cocktails.
Having booked two sea front rooms last Christmas very disappointed to have No hot water for the whole seven days! Refund of two nights per room promised, after I returned home the manager denied all knowledge.
